DRONExpert Nederland has developed the VUE PRO R mount for the compact drones in the market.
The VUE PRO R mount is not equipped with stabilization servos and is therefore considerably lighter than the 3in1 gimbal.
The keywords for this new VUE PRO R V2.0 mount are: light weight, quality, perfect price / quality ratio, without sacrificing functionality.

LCD touch remote control
ptionally, the VUE PRO R mount can be equipped with the DRONExpert® LCD touch remote control unit. With this remote you can operate the FLIR VUE PRO R on a (long) distance.
Depending on the type of camera you can control the following functions remotely:
- Color palettes
- Digital zoom
- Start stop recording (photos, video, burst and timelapse)
- Conditions
- Camera settings
- Scenes
- Presets
- Tilt angle
- Color settings

Geotagging
Optionally, the thermal mount can be equipped with a geotagger. This ensures that the radio-metrically recorded thermal photos are provided with coordinates.
Simultaneously realtime daylight and thermal view
Double camera setup
The thermal drone set-up is equipped with dual cameras (RGB/thermal). This means that you have realtime daylight and thermal imaging at your disposal simultaneously. The thermal image is very suitable for detection and the RGB image is perfect for recognition.
Adjustable frequency / Band / Power
For worldwide use
In order to be able to use the mount worldwide, it is equipped with an adjustable video transmitter. This way you can adjust the following settings yourself:
- Frequency
- Band
- Power output 25/200 of 600mw (the stronger the power output, the further the video signal)

DRONExpert Automatic hotspot detection
Indispensable in many applications: the DRONExpert Automatic Hotspot Detection.
When the contrast of the temperatures is close to each other, then quickly detecting an object with thermal image is very difficult (see photo on the left), with the DRONExpert Automatic Hotspot Detection you will immediately receive a message in your display when a hotspot is detected by your thermal camera, this is possible by measuring based on the temperature value in the pixel. The threshold value of this function is adjustable as desired, so that almost any desired object can be detected.
This functionality is indispensable for Search and Rescue, but can also be used when searching for wildlife, birds and eggs or for industrial inspections and solar panel checks.
Creating reports, post-processing and calibrated temperature measurement
Raw data capture
If you combine the VUE PRO R mount with a radiometric camera (VUE PRO R or TAU2 R), radiometric photographs can be taken which enable you to make temperature analyses and generate reports with FLIR tools.
The Tripod holder
The optional tripod provides optimal comfort during your flights. The thermal LCD and DJI remote can be installed onto the tripod and can be charged through an integrated battery holder (drone battery)
No additional batteries required
Battery supply
For optimum performance, the power cable is installed inside the drone, which leads to the mount receiving its power through the drone battery. This way weight is being saved optimally and a maximum flight time is achieved.
The thermal package can be supplied completely ready to fly, but can also be used for installation of your own drone and/or camera. It is advisable to have DRONExpert Netherlands carry out the installation of the power supply cable if you opt for an "DIY installation package".
However, if you wish to perform the installation yourself, we can optionally provide the thermal mount with its own battery so that installation can easily be realized (the weight of the mount will be somewhat higher).
